Busy Auto Parts Store with six locations is seeking salespeople who can provide excellent customer service and auto parts knowledge to our ever-increasing customer base. Ideal candidates will have a strong knowledge of auto parts from all makes and models to provide customers with top-notch service! The Auto Parts Counter Sales employees are the backbone of the business, delivering excellent customer service and knowledge to this company's long-standing customers.

Requirements

• Seeking an employee with a positive attitude and fabulous customer service skills.
• Ideal candidate should have an automotive background.
• Knowledge of automobiles, trucks, and their systems.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Must be willing to work in other locations (Bandon, Coquille, Myrtle Point) if needed.

Job Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service to all store customers.
• Assist both retail and wholesale customers with their auto parts questions and needs, either in person, via the telephone, or through online ordering.
• Handle cash, credit card, and other purchasing transactions.
• Operate the store point of sale system to search for parts and customer accounts, and invoice and pull orders.
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery.
• Operate the electronic and paper cataloging system to retrieve up-to-date parts information.
• Effectively communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times.
• Position includes lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, walking, twisting, kneeling, bending, and climbing stairs/step ladders frequently. Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

• Store hours are: 7:30 am-7:00 pm Monday-Friday, and 8:00 am-7:00 pm weekends.
• Full Time position, should be available for any shift

Rate of Pay

• Pay rate $14.25 per hour
